S6 EP2 Ways to look after your mental health during lockdown ft Lizzie Thomson
As the weeks pass by in lockdown, there seems to be an ever more important focus growing around the mental health of individuals isolating in every country. With our lives turned upside down and everyone missing their 'normal' lives, it's understandable why that might be.
This week we decided to chat to Lizzie Thomson, a freelance writer for Metro.co.uk, to discuss one of her recent articles looking at how to take care of ourselves as we all stay at home and wait this out.
In Lizzie's article, she speaks to wellness professionals who suggest that we: pick up a hobby, meditate, do a digital detox, practice gratitude, make sure we get fresh air, exercise, create a plan for the day, and make an effort to try and stay healthy.
